The Presbyterian Hunger Program
There are many poor and hungry kids in our country and in our world, and it's just not right. In the United States and around the world, The Presbyterian Hunger Program (PHP) works to make things right for poor and hungry people by:
- Giving money to buy food and to help people develop ways to feed themselves.
- Helping people to learn about hunger and its causes.
- Training people how to speak up about hunger to public officials, people like our members of Congress
- Helping people to learn about better ways to live their lives and spend their money that do not make things worse for poor people.
Presbyterian who want to help can give money to the annual One Great Hour of Sharing offering.
